The Houthi armed group in Yemen claimed to have attacked the oil refinery of Saudi Aramco.
Sana'a reports: On the 9th, the Houthi armed group in Yemen stated that it conducted a "precision strike" using drones against a facility at the Saudi Aramco refinery located in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree mentioned in a statement that this strike was in response to the recent incursion of Saudi drones into Yemeni airspace. Earlier on the 9th, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy announced on social media that a fire broke out at one of the facilities of the Saudi Aramco refinery in Jizan early that morning. The company's industrial safety firefighting team has extinguished the fire, and there were no casualties resulting from the incident.
