On August 9, Liyuan New Energy disclosed its semi-annual report, stating that the company achieved an operating revenue of 644 million yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 29.75%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 73.0239 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 715.75%; and the basic earnings per share were 0.0782 yuan/share. During the reporting period, the companys performance was primarily boosted by the increase in investment income from the Three Channels of External Power Transmission generation project of its equity investee, Xinjiang Huadian Tianshan Power Generation Co., Ltd., which was successively put into operation, as well as the increase in new energy subsidy repayments that led to a reduction in credit impairment losses.
