According to the Jiangsu Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Command Center, starting from 14:00 on August 9, 2026, in response to the yellow rainstorm warning issued by the Jiangsu Provincial Meteorological Station, a Level III emergency response for flood control has been activated for the six cities of Nanjing, Wuxi, Changzhou, Suzhou, Nantong, and Zhenjiang.
