Suzhou upgrades to a Level 3 emergency response for Typhoon "Suanhai Dolphin."
According to the Suzhou Flood Control and Drought Relief Command, starting from 11:00 on August 9, Suzhou has upgraded the city's emergency response to level three in defense against Typhoon "Bohai Dolphin," implementing the following key preventive measures: 1. All outdoor construction sites are to cease work completely, ports and docks are to stop operations, and personnel are to be relocated to safe areas. 2. All outdoor aquaculture on rivers and lakes and outdoor production processes for enterprises are to be halted, with personnel relocated to safe areas; planting, aquaculture, and livestock breeding are to stop non-essential outdoor operations, and personnel in simple shelters are to evacuate. 3. Hazardous chemical enterprises are to stop all outdoor construction and operations, with indoor production conducted cautiously. 4. Schools and training institutions at all levels are to suspend outdoor teaching activities. 5. All inland river navigation is to cease, ferry ports are to be fully closed, and lock gates are to stop their operations. 6. Rail transit services are to strictly control the frequency of surface and elevated operations.
