The first phase of the Bohao gas field development project in China has been fully launched.
Today, reporters learned from China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) that the first trillion-cubic-meter gas field in the Bohai SeaPhase I of the development project for the Bozhong 19-6 gas fieldhas been fully put into production, with a daily hydrocarbon equivalent output exceeding 5,200 tons. The project's launch is of great significance for optimizing the regional energy structure and facilitating the high-quality development of the economy and society. The Bozhong 19-6 gas field is located in the central Bohai Sea, with proven geological natural gas reserves exceeding 200 billion cubic meters and proven geological oil liquid reserves exceeding 200 million cubic meters. The gas field has a burial depth of over 5,000 meters, with a wide distribution range of oil and gas reservoirs and complex reservoir types, making development significantly more challenging than conventional offshore oil and gas fields.
