According to meteorological departments' forecasts, affected by this year's No. 13 typhoon "Bailai Dolphin," some areas in Anhui will experience heavy rain to torrential rain over the next three days, with localized areas facing extraordinarily heavy rain. Through consultations with the Ministry of Natural Resources, it has been assessed that the risk of geological disasters is high in certain localities in western Anhui. In accordance with the "National Emergency Plan for Sudden Geological Disasters" and relevant regulations, the Ministry of Emergency Management initiated a level IV emergency response for geological disasters in Anhui on August 8.
