Chicago soybean meal futures fell approximately 2.2% this week, while soybean oil rose over 1.2%.
On Friday, at the close of trading in New York, the Bloomberg Grain Commodity Index rose 0.50%, reaching 30.9791 points, with a cumulative decline of 0.31% for the week. From Monday noon to Tuesday, it saw a significant spike followed by a drop, and subsequently remained relatively stable. This week, CBOT corn futures fell a cumulative 0.54%, closing at $4.6150 per bushel, having reached $4.7525 during the early session on Tuesday in the Asia-Pacific region. CBOT wheat futures rose a cumulative 0.15%, closing at $6.5650 per bushel. CBOT soybean futures fell a cumulative 0.97%, closing at $11.76 per bushel, while soybean meal futures dropped 2.18% and soybean oil futures increased by 1.22%. CBOT lean hog futures fell a cumulative 3.21%, live cattle futures declined 0.81%, while feeder cattle futures rose by 0.38%.
