Chifeng Gold: Suspend operations at the Laos Mengkang rare earth project.

Chifeng Gold announced that the company completed the acquisition of 90% of Chixia Mining's equity on March 25, 2025, and its operated Laos Mengkang rare earth project is still in the trial production stage. Following careful research and assessment, and in response to and in strict compliance with the policy requirements related to rare earth resource development, Chijin Chixia Tungsten has decided to suspend operations of this project. In 2025, the project produced 998.56 tons of rare earth products, resulting in a net loss of 54.0637 million yuan attributable to Chifeng Gold; in the first quarter of 2026, it produced 63.6 tons, with a net profit of 372,800 yuan. The suspension of operations is expected to have a relatively minor impact on the overall business performance of the company.
