Affected by this year's 13th typhoon "Bai Dolphin," it is expected that starting from the morning of the 8th, most areas of Shanghai will experience gusts of up to level 8, with gusts in high-rise buildings and coastal areas possibly reaching level 9. The Shanghai Meteorological Bureau issued a blue typhoon warning signal for Shanghai at 16:00 on August 7, 2026. The municipal flood control headquarters has decided to simultaneously initiate a level IV flood prevention and typhoon response action.
