According to the latest data published by the General Administration of Customs on August 7, in July, textile and apparel exports totaled 28.79 billion USD, an increase of 7.6% year-on-year, but a decrease of 1.6% month-on-month. Among these, textile exports amounted to 12.35 billion USD, an increase of 6.4% year-on-year, and a decrease of 8.7% month-on-month; while apparel exports reached 16.45 billion USD, an increase of 8.5% year-on-year, and an increase of 4.4% month-on-month. From January to July, total textile and apparel exports reached 174.75 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%, with the growth rate widening by 1 percentage point compared to the previous month.
