A-share closing review: The Shanghai Composite Index opened lower but rose more than 1%, with innovative drugs and medical services sectors surging collectively.
The three major A-share indices collectively rose today. By the close of trading, the Shanghai Composite Index was up 1.02%, the Shenzhen Component Index increased by 1.42%, the ChiNext Index was up 1.35%, the Beishang 50 rose by 1.01%, and the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index surged by 2.51%. The total market turnover reached 26,834 billion yuan, an increase of 135.9 billion yuan compared to the previous day, with over 2,800 individual stocks rising across the market. In terms of sectors, medical services, components, innovative drugs, PCB concepts, and electronic chemicals saw the greatest gains; meanwhile, the digital currency, software development, gaming, data security, and mobile payment sectors experienced the most significant declines.
On the trading front, the innovative drug sector opened low but surged throughout the session, continuously breaking out. Companies such as Boteng Co., Baipu Sais, Ruikang Pharmacy, Harsan Lian, and Baihua Pharmaceuticals hit their daily limit. Other stocks like Yaoshi Technology, Haoyuan Pharmaceutical, and Hualan Pharmaceutical rose over 10%. The PCB concept sector also performed strongly, with stocks like Yibo Technology, Baoding Technology, Jingwang Electronics, Shengyi Electronics, and Hongban Technology all hitting their limits. Furthermore, Shenghong Technology, Nanya New Materials, Zhongfu Circuit, and Tongguan Copper Foil recorded notable increases.
The electronic chemicals sector saw fluctuations and a gradual rise, with Fangbang Co. reaching its daily limit, while Weiteou, Lite Broadcast, Tiancheng Technology, and Hongchang Electronics also saw significant gains. The digital currency sector displayed sluggish performance, with Jida Zhengyuan, Gaoweida, and Tianrongxin leading the declines. The gaming sector corrected, with Dasheng Culture and Caesar Culture hitting their daily limits, as well as Shengtian Network, Zhongqing Treasure, and Dihuan Network following suit.
