NVIDIA Jetson significantly raises prices, and Powertech launches the "Shanhai" intelligent computing module to provide domestic alternatives.
According to today's official WeChat news from LTK, there has been a significant price adjustment for NVIDIA's Jetson series products recently. The price of the Jetson AGX Orin module has been raised from $899 to $1,799, an increase of 100%. In fact, due to the rapid expansion of demand for edge AI applications and tightening supplies of certain upstream components, some models in the Jetson series have experienced supply constraints since last year. The fluctuation in prices of core computing platforms and supply impacts directly affect the BOM costs and delivery rhythms of enterprise products. LTK has launched the Shanhai series of intelligent computing modules for edge AI scenarios. This product series is built upon domestic CPUs and GPUs, featuring high-performance AI inference, multi-task parallel processing, and rich interface expansion capabilities, capable of stable long-term operation in complex environments. The Shanhai T100 offers a maximum AI computing power of 240 TOPS for INT8 and 17.4 Tflops for FP32, supporting the deployment of complex deep learning models and large-scale concurrent inference tasks. In terms of storage configuration, the 128GB eMMC local storage effectively reduces reliance on external storage, enhancing device integration and deployment flexibility.
