Iran plans to introduce stricter navigation regulations for the Strait of Hormuz.

The Iranian parliament is currently reviewing a draft bill aimed at tightening navigation control rules in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf. The main proposals include: prohibiting the passage of vessels associated with the United States, Israel, and other hostile countries; intercepting military and civilian cargo linked to Israel; restricting the passage of vessels involved in actions against the "Axis of Resistance"; denying passage to parties that owe compensation to Iran; and imposing fines of up to 20% of the cargo value for violations. The proposal is still under consideration and has not yet been approved.
