According to Zhitong Finance APP, Dan Katz, the First Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), stated that the Japanese economy is undergoing a profound long-term transformation, and the economic recovery provides room for the Bank of Japan to continue advancing monetary policy normalization. Against the backdrop of inflation remaining slightly above the 2% target, he expects the Bank of Japan to gradually exit its ultra-loose monetary policy that has lasted for nearly 30 years.
