Toast collaborates with Google to launch an AI-powered smart ordering feature in Google Maps.

On August 6, the global restaurant and retail technology platform Toast announced a deepened partnership with Google to integrate its point-of-order experience into the conversational AI feature "Ask Maps" on Google Maps. In the future, when diners seek restaurant recommendations or specific food requests via voice or text in Ask Maps, the system will directly present the menus of Toast partner restaurants and assist diners in completing their orders and payments throughout the process.
