On August 6, it was reported that Googles parent company, Alphabet, has officially begun marketing a dollar investment-grade bond issuance plan. Previously, the company raised its capital expenditure forecast for 2026, which triggered a sell-off of AI-related debt assets. This bond issuance will directly test investors' willingness to absorb in the market. It is reported that Alphabet plans to issue bonds in up to 10 tranches, with maturities ranging from 2 to 40 years. Among them, the initial inquiry yield for the 40-year bonds is approximately 1.55 percentage points higher than that of U.S. Treasury bonds.
