Today, the Tianjin Marine Environment Monitoring and Forecast Center issued a storm surge warning: Due to the influence of cold air, a temperate storm surge process is expected to occur along the Tianjin coast from August 7 to 8. Relevant units are advised to take precautions against tidal surges and to continue monitoring subsequent storm surge warnings.
