The number of foreign travelers entering and exiting the Shenzhen port has exceeded 5 million this year.

According to statistics from the Shenzhen Border Inspection Station, as of August 4th, the number of foreigners entering and exiting through the Shenzhen port in 2026 has surpassed 5 million, achieving this milestone 58 days ahead of 2025. Data shows that this year, the number of visa-free foreigners entering through the Shenzhen port reached 1.269 million, accounting for 50.9% of the total number of incoming foreigners, a year-on-year increase of 47.5%. Furthermore, the number of foreigners from APEC economies entering and exiting through the Shenzhen port reached 3.433 million, making up 68.6% of the total number of foreigners, with a year-on-year growth of 23.6%.
