The UK government has announced an expansion of the global talent visa scheme, focusing on attracting top talent in eight high-growth industries.

The UK government has announced the expansion of the "Global Talent Visa Scheme" to over 100 companies, focusing on eight high-growth industry sectors identified in the UK's "Modern Industrial Strategy," including advanced manufacturing, digital technology, clean energy, and life sciences. These companies can assist talent in obtaining visas through four different pathways. So far, the scheme has attracted more than 12,500 outstanding talents from over 130 countries. In addition, the UK has established a Global Talent Working Group dedicated to identifying and attracting top international talent.
