Quanta Education announced that the 18,166,900 shares held by its controlling shareholder, Zhongwen Xushun, have been judicially frozen by the Intermediate People's Court of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, accounting for 12.54% of his holdings and 2.87% of the company's total share capital. The freezing period began on August 5, 2026, and will end on August 4, 2029, due to a dispute over a share transfer contract with Chen Zhiqiang. As of the disclosure date of the announcement, a total of 37,566,900 shares held by Zhongwen Xushun have been frozen, which represents 25.92% of his holdings and 5.93% of the company's total share capital. Currently, this matter has not affected the company's control and operations, but it may lead to the controlling shareholder being passively reduced in their holdings.
