Chinese enterprise completes the construction of the Nyong River Bridge in Cameroon, now open to traffic.

The completion and opening ceremony of the Nyong River Bridge in Cameroon, constructed by China Communications Construction Company First Public Bureau Group, was held on the 5th in Nyong-Kayle, located in the central region of Cameroon. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Public Works, the Minister of Transport, and the Minister of Social Affairs, among others. Emmanuel Ngannou Jumesi, the Minister of Public Works, highly praised the professionalism demonstrated by the Chinese side in terms of construction organization, technical application, and contract management. He believes that the completion of the bridge not only ensures the safe and convenient crossing of the Nyong River for local residents but will also play an important role in promoting agricultural development, driving regional economic growth, and enhancing connectivity. "The bridge was completed nine months ahead of schedule, which is a significant achievement resulting from close cooperation and joint efforts from all parties," he said.
