Accelerating the transformation towards new and improved standards: In the first half of the year, China's machinery industry has shown steady progress amidst stability.

The information released by the China Machinery Industry Federation today shows that during the first half of this year, the machinery industry in China has operated steadily with progress, accelerating its transformation towards innovation and quality. The latest data indicates that in the first half of this year, the added value of large-scale enterprises in Chinas machinery industry grew by 6.4% year-on-year, surpassing the national industrial and manufacturing sectors by 1 and 0.8 percentage points, respectively. The added value in the five major categories of the national economygeneral equipment, special equipment, automobiles, electrical machinery, and instruments and meters manufacturingalso saw year-on-year growth of over 6%. Among the 127 major mechanical products closely monitored, 80 products experienced a year-on-year increase in output, representing a growth rate of 63%, showing a general upward trend. In addition, during the first half of this year, large-scale enterprises in Chinas machinery industry realized operating revenue of 16.1 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%. By industry, the operating revenue of all 14 sub-sectors achieved growth, with the electric machinery, engineering machinery, machine tool, robot, and intelligent manufacturing industries seeing growth rates exceeding 10%.
