According to CCTV News, the National Bureau of Statistics is currently steadily advancing the work of data property rights registration and accelerating the construction of a national integrated data market. Data property rights registration, in simple terms, is to issue an "identity certificate" for data as an intangible asset, similar to how a real estate registration center issues property certificates. At present, entities with demand can register data property rights with designated data property rights registration institutions following procedures. The national data management department is responsible for the overall management of data property rights registration across the country. At the national level, unified registration objects, registration types, registration processes, review standards, and registration effectiveness are established, ultimately achieving "one-time registration, nationwide applicability," reducing the costs of data circulation and usage, and allowing this new production factor, data, to exert its "multiplier effect."
