Affected by a rumor regarding the export of optical modules, shares of leading optical module company "Yizhongtian" opened significantly lower on August 5th after the A-share market opened. In response, several industry insiders, in interviews with reporters, stated that as early as 2025, there had been rumors in the market about potential restrictions on optical modules and other products, and the industry had anticipated this and made some preparations. In the short to medium term, given the strong market demand, China's massive production capacity, extremely high efficiency, and lower costs, the likelihood of strict bans on imports of Chinese optical modules overseas is relatively low, and the impact on the industry is limited; however, in the long term, the market share of Chinese manufacturers in certain overseas markets may be somewhat affected.
