On the 5th, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Golamhossein Dehghani stated that after 4 to 5 days following the outbreak of a new round of conflict, the United States had relayed a message to Iran, hoping to resolve related issues through negotiations. He emphasized that arrangements regarding the Strait of Hormuz should be determined solely by Iran and Oman, and Iran absolutely does not accept any external interference.
