The amorphous electric drive technology has been downgraded to the 100,000-level, with the 2027 Aion RT starting at 99,800 yuan.

On August 5, GAC Aion launched the 2027 Aion RT, with prices ranging from 99,800 to 123,800 yuan. The new model is positioned as a compact pure electric sedan, incorporating amorphous alloy electric drive and silicon carbide power control for the first time at a price point of 100,000 yuan. It comes standard with CATL batteries, achieving the longest range in its class at 710 km and an ultra-low energy consumption of 8.571 kWh per 100 km. This model has previously accumulated over 100,000 deliveries, and this upgrade aims to capture market share in the mainstream compact sedan segment priced between 90,000 and 120,000 yuan by enhancing core three-electric technology.
