On August 5, the Yun Dong Hai Street Office in Sanshui District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province issued a situation report: On August 4, 2026, there were reports online from the public that a waste collection site in Yuankeng Village, Yun Dong Hai Street was suspected of infringing on the rights of disabled workers. Upon receiving this information, the street office immediately teamed up with relevant departments to visit the site for verification. Preliminary investigations revealed that there are currently 5 workers at the site, and further investigation and evidence collection are ongoing. We will firmly uphold the legal rights of workers, especially those from vulnerable groups, and maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards various forms of illegal employment practices. If substantiated, we will take strict legal action.
