The spokesperson stated that the measures taken by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission and the inclusion of relevant entities in the so-called "Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act Entity List" by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security seriously violate the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries and severely harm China's legitimate rights and interests. Therefore, China can only take necessary retaliatory measures in response. The spokesperson emphasized that Chinas retaliatory measures are generally restrained. China values the stability of Sino-U.S. economic and trade relations, which has been hard-won. We hope the U.S. side can move toward China.
