Ministry of Commerce: Taking countermeasures against U.S. compliance testing companies
The Zhitong Financial APP has learned that the Ministry of Commerce has issued a decision regarding countermeasures against U.S. compliance testing companies. Recently, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States has been intensifying negative measures related to China, seriously infringing upon the lawful rights and interests of Chinese enterprises. U.S. compliance testing companies assist and support the FCC in taking measures that endanger China's sovereignty, security, and development interests. Based on Article 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, and 15 of the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China, and Articles 3, 5, 8, and 10 of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law, China has decided to list the U.S. compliance testing company (Compliance Testing LLC) on the countermeasure list and adopt the following countermeasures: prohibiting organizations and individuals within China from engaging in transactions, cooperation, and other activities related to it. This will take effect on August 5, 2026.
