The National Flood and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management have allocated central drought relief materials to Xinjiang to support drought prevention and disaster reduction efforts.

On August 5, at the request of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, the Office of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management, in conjunction with the National Grain and Material Reserve Bureau, allocated 40 drought relief pumps, 115 generators, and other central drought relief materials to support Xinjiang's efforts in drought prevention and disaster reduction.
