More than 4 million passengers have entered and exited through the Shanghai port during the halfway point of the summer transportation season.

According to the Shanghai Border Inspection General Station, with the summer travel season in full swing, the cross-border travel activity at Shanghai ports continues to rise. Passenger flow at the two major international airports, Pudong and Hongqiao, remains high, and Wu Songkou International Cruise Terminal is also welcoming the peak season for summer cruise travel. Since the beginning of the summer travel season, the Shanghai Border Inspection General Station has inspected over 4 million inbound and outbound travelers, averaging 117,000 passengers per day. The demand for family travel, study tours, and graduation trips among mainland residents has been released, and foreign tourists interest in traveling to China is on the rise.
