The report stated that despite U.S. interference, the negotiations between Iran and Oman concerning the Strait of Hormuz have entered a "new phase." U.S. Secretary of State Rubio said on the 4th at the U.S. State Department that the most pressing and concerning issue at the moment is the Strait of Hormuz, and the U.S. is involved in the relevant dialogues and negotiations between Oman and Iran to discuss how to enable more ships to safely pass through the strait in the short term.
