U.S. stocks open: all three major indices rise.

The Dow Jones rose 1.43%, the S&P 500 increased by 0.47%, and the Nasdaq climbed 0.83%. Palantir Technologies surged 17.90%, Zebra Technologies rose 17.52%, Caterpillar gained 11.72%, Coherent Corp increased by 11.26%, and Marvell Technology went up 9.54%. In the "Seven Sisters": Nvidia grew 1.89%, Tesla rose 0.95%, Apple increased by 0.02%, Microsoft fell 0.62%, Google decreased by 0.98%, Meta Platforms dropped 1.48%, and Amazon decreased by 2.24%.
