According to the discussions and assessments between the Ministry of Transport and the China Meteorological Administration, combined with rainfall data from the meteorological department, as of August 4, seven counties in Guangdong and Guangxi provinces experienced over 15 days of precipitation, with total rainfall exceeding 600 millimeters, or total rainfall exceeding 300 millimeters and surpassing the average level for the same period by three times. In addition, 18 counties experienced over 15 days of precipitation, with total rainfall exceeding 300 millimeters and surpassing the average level for the same period by two times, indicating a high risk for road transportation.
