Zhixin Finance APP news, Daikin Heavy Industries (01081.HK) announced that recently, its subsidiary Tangshan Daikin Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a contract for the construction of two bulk carriers with a Norwegian shipowner. The company will design, build, and deliver a type of vessel with a deadweight tonnage of 211,000DWT for the aforementioned shipowner, with each ship measuring approximately 299.95 meters in length, 50 meters in width, and 25 meters in depth. The total amount of the shipbuilding contract is approximately 1 billion RMB, and delivery will occur in batches by 2029.
