The 2026 International Anti-Terrorism Seminar Opens to Discuss New Paths for Combating Terrorism

The 2026 International Seminar on Counter-Terrorism will be held on August 4 in Yining, Xinjiang, attracting nearly a hundred representatives from over 20 countries and international organizations. The theme of this seminar is "Responding to New Challenges of Terrorism: Strengthening National Responsibility and Building International Cooperation," with three subtopics: "Regional Counter-Terrorism Challenges and Responses under Geopolitical Conflicts," "Abuse of Emerging Technologies and Counter-Terrorism Responses," and "Comprehensive Approaches to Eliminating the Roots of Terrorism."
