On the 4th, Samsung Electronics announced that its new Galaxy Z8 series foldable smartphones have achieved a pre-sale volume of 1.44 million units in South Korea, setting a record for the highest pre-sale figures in the Galaxy smartphone series. The Galaxy Z8 series was available for pre-sale from the 28th of last month to the 3rd of this month, with pre-sale numbers reaching 1.44 million units. This surpasses the previous record of 1.38 million units set by the Galaxy Note10 in 2019, and it also exceeds the pre-sale figures of the Galaxy S26 series released this year, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 series from last year.
