Major European stock indices closed mixed.

The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose by 0.43%, the STOXX Index increased by 0.98%, and the Eurozone blue-chip stock index climbed by 1.15%. The UK FTSE 100 Index fell by 0.16%, the German DAX Index rose by 1.59%, the French CAC 40 Index increased by 1.36%, and the Spanish IBEX Index went up by 0.99%.
