Ten Quin: The most severe shortage of DRAM is expected in the first half of 2027.

In the second quarter, storage module manufacturer Tenqual Technology reported revenue of NT$7.588 billion, a decrease of 16.11% quarter-on-quarter and an increase of 66.18% year-on-year. The after-tax net profit was NT$2.412 billion, a quarter-on-quarter increase of 5.14% and a year-on-year increase of 21,827%. Tenqual stated that the global AI infrastructure development is driving significant storage demand, and major DRAM manufacturers are actively expanding capacity. However, in the short term, it remains difficult to effectively alleviate the supply-demand imbalance, with the most severe shortage expected to occur in the first half of 2027.
