Yellow rainstorm warning: The Ministry of Transport adjusts heavy rain defense response to level three.

The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow rainstorm warning at 18:00 on August 3, and the Ministry of Transport adjusted its response to severe rainfall to Level 3. The Central Meteorological Observatory expects that from 20:00 on August 3 to 20:00 on August 4, there will be heavy to torrential rainfall in parts of southeastern Shaanxi, southern Shanxi, western Henan, central and southeastern Chongqing, western Hubei, western Hunan, eastern Guizhou, western and southern Yunnan, southeastern Tibet, northern and southeastern Guangxi, southwestern Guangdong, eastern and southern Hainan Island, as well as parts of northern and central Hebei, northern Tianjin, and northern and southern Beijing. Among these areas, parts of southeastern Shaanxi, central and southeastern Chongqing, southwestern Hubei, southeastern Guizhou, western Yunnan, southeastern coastal Guangxi, and northeastern Hainan Island may experience extremely heavy rainfall, with locally severe rainstorms. Some of the aforementioned areas will be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation and localized severe convective weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds, or hail.
