Expanding the scope of housing provident fund usage in multiple regions to meet diverse housing consumption needs.

Recently, the State Council's executive meeting reviewed and approved the "Decision of the State Council on Amending the 'Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Fund'," which clearly states the need to better leverage the functions of the housing provident fund, broaden the scope of withdrawals and usage, expand the coverage of the system, enhance management and service efficiency, and better meet the diverse housing consumption needs of residents. Industry insiders believe that the housing provident fund system has accelerated its transformation from a past singular role as a "housing financing tool" to a comprehensive housing security and livelihood support platform that covers the entire lifecycle of housing including "purchase, rent, renovation, and maintenance."
