Tianjin's 11 departments jointly issued opinions to upgrade the policies for revitalizing existing assets.

On the 2nd, a reporter learned from the Tianjin Municipal Planning and Resources Bureau that the bureau, in coordination with the Tianjin Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee, and eight other departments, recently issued the "Opinion on Activating Existing Assets to Resolve Historical Legacy Project Planning Land and Real Estate Registration Issues." This document further expands the scope of application and optimizes the processing procedures based on the pilot policy to be implemented in 2024, providing support for the completion of procedures and real estate registration for historical legacy projects. It is understood that the original pilot policy was introduced in July 2024 and will expire after two years. In response to market expectations for renewal and to address issues reflected in practice, such as the scope of application, building retention demonstration, illegal disposal, and completion acceptance filing, the Tianjin Municipal Planning and Resources Bureau has taken the lead in revising and upgrading the policy.
