The main project of the first cross-border ropeway between China and Russia has been completed.

The main construction of the first cross-border cableway project between China and Russia, the Heihe-Blagoveshchensk cross-river passenger cableway project, has been completed. The overall project is expected to be fully completed within this year, which will significantly enhance the efficiency of personnel exchanges between China and Russia. Zhang Qijun, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the Heihe Area of the China (Heilongjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone, announced the above information at the "Heihe Northward Opening Special Promotion Conference" on February 2 during the 2026 Entrepreneurs' Sun Island Annual Meeting.
