China Council for the Promotion of International Trade: Ren Hongbin leads a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit the United States.
From July 27 to 31, at the invitation of the U.S.-China Trade Commission, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade organized a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Salt Lake City, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., to promote the implementation of the important consensus reached between the heads of state of the two countries during their meeting in Beijing and to expand practical cooperation in the economic and trade fields. A total of 22 Chinese enterprises joined the delegation. During the visit, Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, met with U.S. Congressman Jackson, former Illinois Governor Quinn, former Chicago Mayor Lightfoot, Illinois State Representative Ford, President and CEO of the Utah World Trade Center Friedman, President and CEO of the Chicago Office of Business Affairs Clement, President and COO of the Business Roundtable Silverberg, and CEO of the U.S. Soybean Export Council Su Jian, and visited companies such as Cargill, Nu Skin, DoTerra, and Larson Farm for research and discussions. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, in cooperation with relevant U.S. agencies, held several business matching events between China and the U.S., engaging in discussions with over 120 U.S. enterprises and institutions.
