The import value of bonded maintenance in the Haikou Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone in the first half of the year exceeded 36 billion yuan.

According to Haikou Customs, in the first half of this year, the value of imported goods for bonded maintenance in the Haikou Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone reached 36.13 billion yuan, an increase of 33.8% year-on-year. The business covers aircraft, engines, aviation materials, and mobile phones. The Haikou Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone has been deeply involved in the aviation bonded maintenance sector since it began operations in 2002, attracting five leading enterprises and holding 24 international maintenance qualifications. By the end of June this year, the one-stop aircraft maintenance industrial base has completed maintenance for over 3,000 aircraft, serving more than 50 domestic and international airlines and aircraft leasing companies.
