On Friday, the performance of U.S. sector ETFs varied. The Consumer Discretionary ETF rose by 3.29%, the Internet Index ETF increased by 2.59%, the Energy ETF gained 1%, and the Semiconductor ETF went up by 0.3%. In contrast, the Technology Sector ETF fell by 0.22%, the Healthcare ETF decreased by 0.59%, and the Biotechnology Index ETF dropped by 1.87%. From January to July 2026, the Semiconductor ETF accumulated an increase of 50.09%, the Energy ETF rose by 35.03%, the Global Technology Stock Index ETF and the Technology Sector ETF both saw at least a 22.09% increase, while the Consumer Discretionary ETF experienced an overall decline of 2.39%.
