China Nuclear Power: Units 1 and 2 of the Dalian Zhanghe Nuclear Power Plant and Units 3 and 4 of the Zhejiang Jinjimen Nuclear Power Plant have received approval from the State Council.

China National Nuclear Power announced that on July 31, 2026, after deliberation by the State Council's executive meeting, it was decided to approve the construction of units 1 and 2 of the Dalian Zhuanghe Nuclear Power Project and units 3 and 4 of the Zhejiang Jinximen Nuclear Power Project. China National Nuclear Power's subsidiaries, China National Nuclear Corporation Datang Zhuanghe Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. and China National Nuclear Energy Co., Ltd., will serve as the respective owner units for the two projects. Each project will construct two "Hualong One" pressurized water reactor nuclear power units in this phase. Currently, the project sites are steadily and orderly advancing various preparatory work before the commencement of construction.
