Wong Ka-wah will take over as the director of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department on August 10th.

According to the Guotong Finance and Economics APP, on July 24th, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced that the current Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong, Aloysius Ho, will take office as the Director of the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong on August 10, 2026, succeeding Liao Zhiyong, who will retire on the same day.
