The first batch of 9,000-ton gas-membrane grain bins in our country are officially filled and pressurized.

On July 24th, after the completion of the first batch of 9000-ton air membrane grain silos in the Changsha direct storage of China Grain Reserves, the first grain loading and compression operation was carried out, marking the official entry of China's fourth generation new type of grain silo into a new phase of application. It is understood that the single height of the air membrane grain silo is 33.6 meters, with a diameter of 24 meters, capable of storing 9000 tons of grain. The first batch of 5 silos can hold a total of 45,000 tons of grain. The air membrane grain silo integrates thermal insulation layer, waterproof layer, and structural layer, with air tightness exceeding 6 times the national high standard grain silo requirements. Combined with temperature control, nitrogen atmosphere technology, its energy consumption significantly decreases, and operational costs are expected to save over 30% compared to traditional grain silos.
