More than 29 million farmers successfully signed the second-round land lease extension contract.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a press conference at the State Council Information Office on July 24th, releasing information that shows China is steadily advancing the pilot program of extending land contracts for another 30 years after the expiration of the second round of land contracts. As of now, more than 29 million farmers have successfully signed extension contracts.
